Harvest takes place by hand from the end of September through the beginning of October. Crushing with destemming is followed by fermentation in vats for 15 to 20 days. This wine is then aged 18 to 20 months in French oak barrels. Refinement in bottle for 1 year before marketing.
Starts off with a beautiful, ruby red color, with soft, defined aromas of clove, licorice, dark-berries, and vanilla. The wine is amazingly lively in the mouth with chocolate-like flavors.
